Chenin Blanc from Vouvray in the Loire Valley. Really classic stuff; bruised red apple, melons, lemon flesh, lemon myrtle and white blossoms, intense minerality, and a lick of sugary honey on the back palate.

The acid provides a backbone but doesn't necessarily lead the wine. Intense and layered with intrigue - charming and complex, a wine that will elevate any occasion.
