A satisfying deep red in colour, with ripe fruit density to match. Smell cherry and raspberry, as well as over ripe currant, cranberries, and plum. 

The acidity picks the fruit up and dazzles it a little, giving it freshness and lift - there is an overall buoyancy to the wine.
