100% Chenin Blanc from Vouvray in the Loire Valley, which is for me the best Chenin producing region on the planet.

A little bit of fruit sweetness, brilliant acid, honeysuckle, leesy depth and complexity, under ripe tropical melons, ripe lemons, green apple, bruised red apple, candied gum drops. 

The wine has a richness that is balanced by zippy acidity. You could cellar this wine a few years if you like - the bruised apple and honeysuckle will come to the fore and the richness will develop while the acid will fall away a little, making for greater intensity. Honestly, though, this wine is drinking so well right now that none of it will last long in our houses.
