60% Grenache, 40% Syrah from a single sire in the Rhone Vally. 

Cherries, strawberries, black pepper, and an earthy decay underscore the wine. This is ripe and juicy and enormously satisfying. The red fruit remains fresh and ripe but there is little edges of dried savoury herbaciousness that push it into the dried-currant spectrum. It never strays into jamminess. 

This wine has layers of intrigue and finesse but it doesn't skimp on energy and oomph. It is at once complex but completely drinkable.
