An Italian with a saline, almost briny edge that gives it richness and a more-ish quality - there's nothing wishy-washy about this incarnation of Sangiovese. 

Cherries, strawberries, ripe plums - peppy acid that grips the mouth. Savoury dried herbs and some dried earth (maybe even meaty) aromas. The freshness is in perfect step with the salinity that is present, giving the wine great shape in the mouth while still retaining that classic Italian Sangiovese dryness. 

Give it a moment in the glass (and a good slosh about) to let it show itself fully. A great wine to accompany bold food.
